This video provides a terrific visualization of a Distributied Denial of Service (DDoS) attack on an Internet server. In a distributed denial-of-service attack a bunch of machines make a bunch of requests to a server to make it buckle under the pressure. This video was created from the log files of a recent attack on VideoLAN’s download infrastructure.
